The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), a Maharatna-based public sector enterprise engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas in India and abroad, has announced its intention to engage doctors- Field Duty Medical officers on a contract basis as part of its RIG-NG-1500 Frontier Basins in and around Panna, Madhya Pradesh, on a consolidated honorarium basis.

ONGC Job 2023 Terms & Conditions

• These posts are temporarily on a contract basis for up to 4 (Four) years or until 68 years of age, whichever comes sooner.
• As per the requirements, candidates may be required to work anywhere in West Bengal State.
• Field visits will be required in and around the operational areas of ONGC, and the incumbent should be in reasonably good health. The selected candidates will be permitted to join ONGC only if they are physically fit to perform the field duties determined by the I/C Medical Services ONGC, MBA Basin Kolkata.
• The candidates should have sufficient knowledge of both English and Bengali.
• The contract agreement will be renewed yearly from the date of joining, depending on performance/medical fitness. It can be terminated at any time if the desired results are not obtained or if any official is later found not working in ONGC’s interest.
• A notice period of one month would be required from either side for termination of the contractual engagement if terminated prior to the stipulated period.
• No claim for regular appointment in ONGC under contract work will be entertained.
• Payment of fixed monthly remuneration will be strict ‘no work, no pay,’ and no TA/DA or other benefits will be admissible.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-interview.
